After years of remaining true underground jewels the psychedelic pop crafters Loving release their first album on Last Gang Records.
Like on their self-titled first EP released in 2016 Loving compose a dreamer’s soundtrack of gentle psychedelic lo-fi pop. “If I am Only My Thoughts” sensitive songwriting and sweetly sung melodies are concerned with existentialistic questions, but evoke feelings of nostalgia, an indefinite longing and escapism into nature romance.
“With lyrics written by both Jesse and Lucas, the lush, homespun collection of songs were recorded to tape, mixed, and mastered by David in his self-described “cold, dismal” basement studio in Victoria.
