Because it’s January 2019 and all is so new and fresh we made a playlist of our new songs on repeat: all are gentle, slow-paced and romantic songs, new musical discoveries and freshly released tracks of eagerly awaited upcoming albums to be released later in 2019.
Yes, the playlist is featuring a lot of new Jessica Pratt songs – we are kind of obsessed and can’t wait for her new album coming out early February and finally seeing her live on stage in April. We also have several songs from Jackson Macintosh whom we experienced live earlier this month in Berlin.
The incredibly great new single from Weyes Blood “Andromeda” has a totally new lovely orchestral sound and synthesisers and organs and makes us so curious about upcoming new music of her. The most dreamy duet of dreamy voices is Sam Evian singing together with Kazu Makino from Blonde Redhead in “Next To You”.
Also new is Hand Habits newly released single “Can’t Calm Down” from her upcoming album and nice matching discoveries by the songwriters Kevin Krauter and John Andrews, as well as Thom Yorke’s stripped down piano ballad “Suspirium” from the Suspiria movie soundtrack.
Tim Presley (White Fence) “I have to feed Larry’s Hawk” who just released his album of the same name, Lala Lala whom we just discovered in a duet with WHY?, and composer Maston, like Jackson Macintosh another great music maker from the touring band of Pedrum Siadatian’s project “Paint”.
Happy new music year!
